Videocon D2H

Writing a review on Videocon D2H service just happened to me by seeing an Videocon Dish antenna on someone's rooftop today. Videocon ,in other segments , may not be so popular but when I see so many D2H connections across Bhubaneswar, then it came across my mind that it  is  due to either their  service so commendable or quality of D2H signals may be better than others (as they claimed-noise-free) or may be its cheap.

My take on this D2H service:
In the month of January 2016,  we finally decided to call these guys for installation of D2H service with HD recorder as our TV was full HD already. The TV was bought since last year but still my parents were quite okay with the dumbest picture quality which was thrown by the local cable operator. After government tightened rules for the local cable operators to install set-up box so that everyone could see digital content instead of analog as earlier, the local cable operator was also making arrangements for the set-up box and  used to assure us for best picture quality. But somehow, I was not convinced by him and persuaded my father to get a D2H instead.I finally ordered the Videocon D2H after a little research in internet and talking to relatives, especially my father-in-law in this case, as he was also using this service for a long time. I booked it online to get some discount and avail coupons, which I never used.
The first thing which came to my mind while doing slight research on this is that it is not cheap. As it was almost at par with its competitors as far as price is considered.Picture quality is good..The exact model shown in the above picture is what I am using currently at  home.Remote is very light and can work in any direction.Remote is infrared enabled- what the sales person was telling ,I remember.
But it is very effective. It is very simple to use as well.No need to remember the channel numbers also. You can just go to mosaic and select any channel from any category. All the Oriya channels are also there. For the first three months , the recording facility was free , then it became 30 Rs. per month.
In total, I would strongly recommend this D2H service (in particular) the HD services to anyone who is willing to have a good and prompt service from the provider.

Airtel 4G

This time I would like to review a very common thing i.e. Mobile Network operator's performance  and that to on 4G service.I would like to give a big thumbs up after using it for last 6 months now.I bought this 4G sim card in the month of January 2016.At that time, I was facing a lot of problem in getting calls through Tata Docomo simcard. Somehow, they did not show interest to solve the problem also. Hence , I finally decided to buy a new 4G sim and Airtel was the only option at that time .(Now in Bhubaneswar, Vodafone and Idea are also providing the 4 G service)

I would strongly recommend for a greater coverage area which it really claims and and also strong signal in remote places as well. A good example is in Kalinga hospital , where I found almost every network seems to falter except my Airtel 4G.

Cost wise it may be bulkier to some people , but I would recommend Airtel 4G to those who tend to remain online always .And above all My pack is one of the best idea  they have created in Airtel. It allows user to select voice, sms, 2G data,3G/4G data in all types of price  and usage range. In my case , I use almost 2GB of data in mobile and almost 300 min STD and 400 min local and few sms things. So it all total costs me around 600 Rs on an average. And also I have another post paid service from Airtel, but in Postpaid it seems fixed cost is more and for the same usage billing is slightly more (in the range of 50 to 100 Rs. per month).I am thinking of changing the postpaid to prepaid in few weeks,
Hope you enjoy this article on Airtel 4G from a current user. You can freely post any comments in the box given below.
